Course at NILE

In the summer 2016 I took a two-week teacher training course at NILE, Norwich Institute for Language Education. The course was with Russell Stannard and it was on Bleded Learning  but discussed other important issues related with language learning and teaching such as the use of New Technologies, multitasking, flipping our classrooms, etc.

Here is a photo of me and Russell.

This course was part of an Erasmus project that my school, the EOI Lleida, has been awarded. It's been a good opportunity for me update my knowledge of this type of teaching to revise my teaching principles and to check if I'm on the right track with my methods applied so far in my classes.
It was also a good opportunity to meet the author of one of the first books I used and got inspirtation from when starting my career as a teacher back in the 80's. He is Jeremy Harmer and I was following his books at the Autonomous University in Barcelona and also when I started my career. I was following his teachings word by work and after 30 years I was meeting him on my first day at Nile. I could not be most excited!

Here is a photo of me and Jeremy Harmer, author of "The practice of English Language Teaching" among many others.
